Perhaps you could consider "Debate
This!" like a mini, televised version of the sometimes-controversial
sections of Chimes. The show's producer, Steve
Zaagman, takes on this task with a wide variety of co-hosts,
most often it being Becky Stein.
Though, keeping within the boundaries of
Calvin's restrictions on televised/published materials, Steve attempts
to push them as far as is possible with his show which discusses
open-ended topics of his weekly choosing. Topics range from sincerely
debatable issues such as sexual protocol among Calvinites to non-sense
material like "The movie, Seven, as the best teen
comedy ever", or "Are Canadians people too?" Steve
has done a lot of good work in his weekly show, airing Wednesdays
at 10:30pm. You might even say he's helped the student body to discern...
