"Interfaith"
Different religious beliefs and affiliations abound even within
the microcausm of America that is West Michigan.
Interfaith is an exploration of the varied communities of faith
within the larger community of Grand Rapids. It is thus designed
to aquaint Calvin students with beliefs and commnities of belief
they would most likely not have the opportunity to experience during
their time at Calvin College.
From Christian denominations, Buddhists and Muslims to the spirituality
of monks and street performers, Interfaith is a show about
and concerned with the experience of faith in a broader context
than one's own background. It is about what holds people together
and the commanalites that bind them, as well as the divisions and
dogmas that keep them apart.
It will air twice monnthly and will be a 30 minute show. |
